The
Athens Counter-Current Swimming Pool is equipped with a
RockWave™ swim jet system featuring
three swim jets. Each jet is powered by its own independent pump, allowing users to activate and adjust the system according to their desired intensity level.
For example, activating one swim jet is ideal for beginners or light training, while engaging the second and third jets increases water resistance for more intensive swimming. The system’s power can be further enhanced by opening the air control valves, which mix air with the water flow to generate maximum resistance, delivering a strong and consistent counter-current for performance swimming.
Adjustable Swim Jets
Comfortable Swimming
The Athens counter-current swim jet system features adjustable-direction jets that can be tilted up and down, allowing the water resistance to be tailored to each user’s needs. The jets can be positioned to help support the body while swimming, or adjusted closer to the water surface or underwater to create suitable resistance for walking, running, and various forms of aquatic exercise.
The power and intensity of the swim jet system are not designed for high-speed competitive swimming, but rather for gentle, comfortable, and continuous use. This makes it ideal for daily health and wellness routines for every member of the family, including children, women, and seniors.
Flat, elongated swim jets with a 20 × 2 cm outlet, powered by independent 3,000-watt pumps, deliver up to 2,340 L/min. The system runs in 15-minute cycles with automatic shut-off.

In addition to counter-current swimming, the Athens Counter-Current Swimming Pool also offers a dedicated space for relaxation and socializing. The rear area of the pool is designed for sitting back, chatting with a partner, family members, or friends, and serves as a comfortable resting zone after swimming or various forms of exercise.
The rear section features three built-in seating positions, each designed with different shapes and water depths to enhance comfort and usability. Every seat is equipped with a massage jet system, creating a unique massage experience tailored to each seating position. The massage zones are carefully positioned to target the shoulders, mid-back, waist, arms, and feet.
31 massage jets in three sizes (1", 2", and 5") deliver targeted massage at different muscle depths, powered by a 2,200-watt pump for consistent and relaxing hydrotherapy.
Integrated Water Heating
For Everyday Wellness
The Athens Counter-Current Swimming Pool comes with a built-in water heating system, allowing the water temperature to be adjusted up to 40°C. An advanced temperature control system maintains a stable water temperature 24 hours a day, ensuring warm water is always ready for use—no waiting required. This makes the pool ideal for morning swims as well as evening or nighttime workouts, offering comfort and convenience at any time.
Users can easily set the water temperature to suit different purposes. For health-focused swimming, a temperature of up to 30°C is recommended for comfort and sustained swimming without fatigue. For aquatic exercise, recovery, and physical therapy, the temperature can be adjusted to 32–36°C, helping to relax muscles, reduce tension, and support effective rehabilitation and recovery.
8-Color LED Lighting
Relaxing Nighttime Ambience
The Athens swimming pool LED lighting system is designed to enhance the nighttime ambiance while swimming, exercising, or relaxing in the pool. The lighting provides clear visibility while creating a calming and enjoyable environment.
Users can choose from 8 lighting colors—red, green, blue, yellow, aqua, light green, purple, and white—with 6 lighting modes available. These include smooth, gradual color transitions or adjustable rhythms to suit different moods and occasions.
The system combines underwater LED lights with small LED accent lights positioned along the waterline, adding depth and atmosphere to the surrounding area. The LED lighting system can operate continuously for up to 4 hours and features an automatic shut-off function for convenience and safety.

The surface of the Athens Counter-Current Swimming Pool is made from high-quality acrylic imported from the United States, a material trusted throughout the global swim spa industry. It features a smooth, refined finish with elegant marble-like colors, enhanced with Microban® technology to inhibit bacteria, mold, and stains. This surface is easy to clean, more hygienic, and helps reduce chemical usage compared to traditional concrete pools.

Jet Massage Pressure Control Valve
The Athens counter-current pool is equipped with five air control valves and one water direction control valve, allowing users to increase swim current resistance and fine-tune massage jet intensity according to personal preference.
Insulated Swim Spa Cover
Keeps Water Clean and Maintains Temperature
The Athens Counter-Current Swimming Pool comes with a high-quality insulated pool cover, approximately 4–6 inches thick. The cover is designed with varying thickness levels to allow rainwater to drain naturally, helping prevent water pooling on the surface and extending the cover’s overall lifespan.
The pool cover acts as a protective barrier against sunlight, dust, leaves, insects, and debris—key causes of cloudy or green water. This helps reduce chemical usage and cleaning time, ensuring the pool is ready for use at any time, regardless of season or time of day.
In addition, the cover helps protect the pool from direct sunlight, extending the lifespan of the pool surface and surrounding components such as the touch control panel, massage control valves, skimmer wall, and LED lighting system. Another major benefit is heat retention. The insulated foam core helps minimize heat loss and evaporation, improving energy efficiency and reducing electricity consumption when using the pool’s heating system.
The exterior of the cover is finished with PU leather material, featuring a furniture-style leather texture that blends seamlessly with the pool’s composite wood-style panels. When installed outdoors without a roof cover, the average lifespan of the pool cover is approximately 3–5 years.
