15 mm foam with aluminum-foil backing adds a second thermal barrier inside the cabinet, reflecting heat back into the spa and helping reduce energy costs.
HOT TUB COVER

Insulated covers trap heat, keeping the water warm and reducing heater use. Cuts down on electricity costs.
An outdoor hot tub cover is made of thermal insulation foam with a 4” and a 2.5” thick. Also helping protect an equipment of hot tub. Shields the hot tub from harsh weather and UV rays.
The center of its cover is 4” thick. The idea of the 2-hinged cover has been taken by a sloped shape like the gable of a house roof. The ends of the cover on both sides are 2.5” thick. The reason why the manufacturer aims to make the cover thick in the middle and thin at both ends is to allow the hot tub cover perfectly drain the water or rain by itself. This is beneficial for preventing rain or water from being kept on the cover which keeps the cover’s longevity.
The average lifespan of the hot tub cover is about 3 to 5 years.
